Afford Pool League 2012 season
This season the Afford League has once again changed their website for this season (As you are now aware of.)
The key to this is the straight forward menu to the left that individually shows every page in the website and is 'lighter' for use with mobile phones
Chairman
George Bradbury (pictured in his younger days) stays at the 'helm' and is once again forecasting
another great season.
With a new 'money' competition aimed at the 'higher' players, The Premier Fours, all tastes, we hope, have been catered for.
We are once again grateful to all our many sponsors, who along with the league sponsors Afford-rent-a-Car go along way in providing first class trophies that we have come accustomed to.
The league again boasts, for this season,eleven
cup competitions', five
merits competitions' and the now famous
'one frame' one night knockout......
Whilst other league's are now
using this competition we can proudly say we were 'the first' and
the best.

The league has been running since 1978 and was the first league in Staffordshire to adopt 'World Rules' when the rules came into effect.
Our website shows everything going on in the 'Afford' world and all the players in the league can view the 'playing stats' .Every frame played, against whom and more importantly who won ....
